Tessa Jansen graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2013. She did her undergraduate studies at Wayne State College, where she earned a B.S. in Biology. While at Wayne she was a member of the Volleyball team and developed a lifelong love for sports. She continues to enjoy playing sand volleyball and staying active. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, gardening, cooking, and painting. She also is a lifelong learner and frequently seeks to expand her clinical knowledge. Professionally, Tessa has 11+ years of experience in an orthopedic setting, nine of which she has specialized in foot and ankle conditions. She enjoys the challenges of being creative and thinking outside the box to provide treatments that are tailored to each unique individual. Tessa has additional training in Myofascial Release, IASTM (instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization), Kinesiotaping, certifications in Manual Lymph Drainage, myofascial cupping, and is a Level 2 Dry Needling practitioner.
